Surflon Leaders – Flexible Protection Against Pike Teeth
Are you looking for a leader that is as soft and flexible as fishing line, but guarantees 100% resistance to sharp predator teeth? In this category, you will find professional Surflon leaders – one of the most valued solutions among modern spinning anglers. Surflon is an technologically advanced steel braid (most often with a dense 7x7 weave, meaning it consists of as many as 49 microfibers), which has been additionally protected with a special, smooth nylon coating. Our fishing store offers a wide selection of ready-made Surflon leaders that are perfect for any type of fishing ground.
Why choose Surflon leaders?
- Incredible softness and flexibility: The dense weave makes the material behave extremely naturally in the water. It doesn't stiffen the rig and allows even the most delicate soft lures or small wobblers to maintain their flawless action.
- Nylon protective coating: The special layer of material protects the steel core from delamination and corrosion, and also minimizes the risk of kinks (shape memory).
- Predator safety: The smooth outer coating is safe for the fish – it does not injure its body during aggressive movements during the retrieve.
- Discretion underwater: Surflon is very thin in relation to its enormous linear strength, and the matte finish of the coating eliminates light reflections, which does not scare cautious fish.
Application of Surflon in modern spinning
- Classic drop and jigging: Thanks to its flexibility, Surflon is an ideal choice for rigging soft plastics on jig heads. The lure shimmers beautifully and maintains its unique action during the drop phase to the bottom.
- Light and medium spinning: It works perfectly with small artificial lures, such as rotating tails or small spoons, without excessively weighing down the front of the rig.
Choose the highest fishing comfort – order reliable Surflon leaders and enjoy perfect lure presentation and confidence during every pike retrieve. We guarantee express delivery!
