Cheburashkas – Spinning Weights for Articulated Lure Rigging
Are you looking for a way to give your soft plastics the perfect, natural action? Cheburashkas are an indispensable piece of equipment for every modern spin angler. This clever system of removable weights has revolutionized predator fishing, offering unlimited possibilities for lure presentation in the water. In this category, you will find a wide selection of cheburashkas of various weights and shapes, allowing you to adapt to all conditions on the water.
Why choose a cheburashka instead of a classic jig head?
A traditional jig head limits lure movement due to the rigid connection of the hook to the lead. Spinning cheburashkas eliminate this problem thanks to their articulated connection. It consists of a lead or tungsten ball and a removable snap (wire loop). When connected to an eyed hook (e.g., an offset hook), the lure gains full freedom of movement, flashes enticingly, and falls more naturally, provoking even the most finicky perch, zander, and pike to strike.
Key advantages of the cheburashka system:
- Natural lure action: The articulated connection allows the soft plastic to move independently of the weight.
- Instant weight change: You can change the weight of the cheburashka in seconds, without having to tear or damage the silicone lure.
- Ideal for offset hooks: The combination with an offset hook allows for the creation of a snag-free rig, perfect for fishing in dense vegetation and underwater obstacles.
- Longer casts: The free connection improves the aerodynamics of the rig during casting compared to a classic jig.
Lead or tungsten cheburashkas? Choose the model for you
In our offer, we have prepared products adapted to various spinning techniques:
- Lead cheburashkas: A classic, economical solution that works perfectly for everyday fishing. Available in a full spectrum of weights – from micro-cheburashkas for ultralight to heavy models for river currents.
- Tungsten cheburashkas: A proposition for the most demanding anglers. Tungsten is much denser than lead, so the weight is smaller for the same mass. This ensures better aerodynamics, faster fall, and excellent bottom feel (tungsten taps stones more audibly).
Ensure the effectiveness of your trips and complete your set! Match the cheburashkas with appropriate offset hooks or Big Eye hooks and enjoy fishing at the highest level.
